山西交城断裂带第四纪活动习性及其分段特征
The Behavior and Segmentation of the Shanxi Jiaocheng Active Fault
【摘要】 <正> 交城断裂是山西断陷带中部太原盆地西边界的主控断裂,对太原盆地的形成和演化起着十分重要的作用。晚新生代以来,该断裂带活动强烈,构造地貌显著,分段活动性明显。历史上,太原盆地北部的忻定盆地和南部的临汾盆地都发生过M≥7.0级强震(临汾盆地2次,忻定盆地3次),而太原盆地历史上仅记载过29余次中强地震,最大震级6(1/2)级。在历史上,太原盆地究竟有没有发生过M≥7.0级古地震事件?对未来地震的危险性如何评估?是人们所关注和待研究的问题。通过此题地质地貌调查,探槽、剥土工程和断层年代测定等方面的研究,基本搞清了这条长125km断裂带的几何结构、运动性质、
【Abstract】 The Jiaocheng Fault is the northwestern boundary fault of the Taiyuan basin in Shanxi province.It is a normal fault with some right-lateral strike—slip component.Its geometry,evolution history,slip rate,active events in Holocene,and segmentation are precisely studied in details in this paper on the bases of air-photo interpretation,geological and morphological investigation,trenching and sample dating.According to the geometric discontinuity and the difference in behavior,the whole fault can be divided into 5 segments.Of which,the Qingxu segment is active in Holocene.It is estimated that the maximum dip-slip rate reached 1.3 mm/a since the mid-Holocene.There were two paleo-earthquakes occurred in the segment in the early to mid—Holocene.
