【Abstract】 The Wenchuan Earthquake destroyed many school buildings,injured and killed hundreds and thousands of students With this tragedy,this paper aims to provide a reference based on California experience for the reconstruction of school buildings in Sichuan.This paper presents key mechanisms established in California to ensure seismic safety for public school buildings,including periodic building code updates,dedicated agency for plan checks and construction inspections.更多还原
