【Abstract】 The application of b - value can be divided into three kinds; using dynamic changes to predict earthquakes ; using G - R law to determine both re - occur cycles and rates of earthquakes from 50 to 100 years in future; and using the distance from origin to point where G - R law linear crosses abscissa to predict the aftershocks magnitude after strong earthquake. The physical foundation and problems in practice are discussed.更多还原
