【Abstract】 The West Route of the South to North Water Transfer Project is a key project to solve the problems of drought and lack of water in the northwest of China and to supplement the insufficiency of the Yellow River water. The interaction of the West Route Project construction and the environmental geology, the frozen soil and freezing damage, reservoir induced earthquake that may occur and reservoir?bank?stability, etc . are the?environmental?geologic?pro blems which shall not be neglected. Only if the characteristics are extensively analyzed and an attention is paid to protecting environmental geology, the benefits of the Project in this aspect could be maximized and the smooth development between mankind and environmental geology would be realized.更多还原
