【Abstract】 In 2001,GMGS upgraded the seismic source on vessel“Tan Bao Hao”to a flexible air gun array which was designed and manufactured by Bolt Technology Corporation.After the successful completion of upgrade project,the vessel itself is now able to serve as a multi-purpose seismic survey vessel for Hi-resolution and conventional seismic surveys as well as deep crustal geological survey.This article gives a brief introduction of operational theory of the energy source on the vessel and is accompanied with the geometry,Far-field signature and spectrum of the three different arrays which are comprised from a standard array by using interchangeable air chambers on the vessel for various prospective purpose.更多还原
