【Abstract】 The Wenchuan 5.12 Earthquake with severe damages and casualties,brings us a painful lesson and reflection. Japan is a country which has considerable experience in disaster prevention and post-disaster reconstruction. Through studying on the laws, regulations, standards and measures for seismic designs of school buildings in Japan, we can sum up the experience and characteristics of Japanese response to the earthquake. This can and promote the reflection within the architectural profession and provide suggestions for the improvement of architectural standards and architectural design of Chinese schools.更多还原
