【Abstract】 Seismic geophone is the key part of the seismic exploration system. The propety and quality of the geophone have an important influence on the quality of the entire exploration effect. In order to study the specifications of the geophone fully and accurately,the calibration of the sensor is particularly important.Based on the background and significance of the calibration of the moving-coil geophone, it is of great importance to introdu ce the popular methods of calibration which is used currently and analyze the basic princ iples,feasibilities, advantages and disadvantages of these methods.
