【摘要】 灾异论的地震解释及相关实践,是传统天道信仰的一个重要组成部分。比较1679年和1879年两次大地震之后知识群体的地震解释,考察灾异论的地震解释在现代的式微,从中透视天道信仰之现代危机。借用格尔兹的观点,本文认为现代科学的地震解释能够更好地解释世界,却不像灾异论的地震解释那样具备道德维系和情感慰藉的功能。如何在放弃灾异论的前提下重建天道信仰,是这一历史变迁提出的重大问题。更多还原

【Abstract】 Borrowing from the opinions of Geertze,this paper holds that modern science can better explain the earthquakes as well as the world,but doesn’t have the functions of moral maintaining and emotional solace like the Disaster theory. How we can rebuild the heavenly belief when we give up the Disaster Theory is an important issue posed by this historical change.更多还原
