【Abstract】 Due to the penetration of lake-water,the crust beneath became weakened. In this paper,the author suggests this weakened,tectonic site could be considered as separating point of tectonic segmentation,which might be either the starting or end point of focal fault propagation,and the initial place of epicentral migration as well.Furthermore,prior to earthquakes,lake -water can amplify the abnormal features of crustal deformation,long-period motion and earth gas,it is one of the methods in short-term and impending earthquake prediction.更多还原
