【Abstract】 The research progress on 2008 Wenchuan quake in China and its possible geodetic formation were introduced. The extrusion of the Indian plate (INDI) relative to the Eurasian plate causes the moving of the south part of Qinghai-Xizang Plateau (QXP) in NE direction,and that of the east part of the QXP in E-SE direction, respectively.The convergence rate with 2 to 5 mm/year between both sides of the Longmen mountain is produced.The Wenchuan quake induced the rupture of about 300 km length along this mountain .更多还原
