【Abstract】 In this paper, time lapse seismic reservoir monitoring technique is introduced. The basic theories of time lapse seismic reservoir monitoring techniques, such as rock physical analysis and time lapse seismic modeling, are described. The feasibility analysis of time lapse seismic monitoring for real reservoir is carried out. The paper analyses the basic requirementsof reservoir conditions, flood manner and seismic data for applying time lapse seismic monitoring in oilfield. For a pilot test or large scale application of time lapse seismic monitoring, seismic acquisition should be carried out carefully. Also, new and special time lapse seismic data processing and interpretation techniques should be developed and applied. The author suggests that time lapse seismic monitoring should be studied and implemented carefully in China.更多还原
