Google Earth KML在自然灾害分析中的应用初探
Application of Google Earth KML in Natural Disasters Analysis
【摘要】 KML(KeyholeMarkup Language)是美国谷歌公司向全球推广的以XML(可扩展标记语言)语言为编码基础,采用XML语法格式存储地理空间信息数据的地图描述语言,现已成为开放式地理编码联盟的标准之一。通过使用谷歌公司的Google Earth和GoogleMaps软件对地理信息要素进行描述并在软件中再现地理对象要素,展现给不同级别的使用者。该文通过KML在冰川消融、地震、飓风等自然灾害剖析处理的实例,简要介绍KML在Google Earth中进行灾害剖析方面的应用。
【Abstract】 KML(Keyhole Markup Language) is a map description language for storing geospatial information using XML format in Google Earth,which coding foundation is based on XML issued by U.S.Google company.Nowadays KML has become one of an open alliance geocoding criteria.We can describe geographic information elements of real-time reproduction,and then show the wide-area view to different levels users via Google Earth Maps and Google.Through the examples of KML in melting ice,earthquake,hurricane etc.,the application of KML in natural disaster analysis is briefly narrates of Google Earth.
