【Abstract】 The Wenchuan Earthquake on May 12 brought huge damages on highway facilities and infrastructures. According to the overall arrangement of the State Council, the Ministry of Transport has been making much effort in the emergency response and rebuilding projects, and at the meantime, it worked with Sichuan, Gansu and Shanxi provinces to compile the Highway Rebuilding Plan after the Wenchuan Earthquake.
