【Abstract】 Ecological civilization is the theme of the new era. It not only represents the constructive direction of social development but also shows the inevitable trend of human progress. The value of ecological civilization influences the reform of modern environmental legal systems,such as ethical values,theoretical foundation,and value function. It also inherently promotes the innovation and development of the modern environmental legal system. Taking"ecological civilization written into the Constitution"as an opportunity,China’s environment law,based on inheritance and development,must actively respond to the"The Harmony of Man and Nature"that is the value requirement of ecological civilization.The response can further"environmental legal system"to"the ecological rule of law",and promotes the transformation of China’s environment law of research paradigm and discipline name in the future.
