【Abstract】 The paper describes basic characteristics of GIS,system architecture of ArcIMS,logical and physical layers of server and basic functions of client base on internet.The developers can further know the characteristics,functions of ArcIMS(Internet Map Server) and WebGIS development technique on ArcIMS,the paper discusses the extensible functions and development method with Java viewers developing WebGIS.With the instance of real estate trade management information system development,it explains using Java viewers developing and customizing WebGIS has many merits,such as faster,easier,more convenient and powerful functions.更多还原
