【Abstract】 Nonlinear static analysis is a method to estimate the seismic performance of structures. Several problems about its application in asymmetric buildings, such as the selection of lateral load patterns, are discussed. Using the principle in literature 3 and the results of mode analytical response spectrum, the modified coefficient is led in and the improvement method on capacity spectrum is got.
