【Abstract】 The super-rise steel frame-tube structure is light and the lateral stiffness of it is small.According to the characteristics of steel frame-tube and the displacement limit under wind load regulated in building code,the determining method of section dimension in preliminary design stage is presented, which can shorten the design cycle and save the computer interior memory.
