南沙群岛永暑礁工程地质特性

【摘要】 运用现场钻探和浅地震勘探等方法 ,发现珊瑚礁弱胶结礁灰岩具有礁缘高而内礁坪和湖低的岩盆现象 ,并认为此岩盆现象有利于礁体工程地质稳定性和礁体的成长发展。另外 ,还采用原位土工测试和室内土工试验等手段研究了珊瑚砂和礁灰岩的物理力学特性 ,指出了珊瑚钙质砂具有高内摩擦角、高孔隙比、颗粒易破碎、颗粒形状不规则等特性 ,是一种不利于桩基工程建设的特殊性土 ,值得深入研究。

【Abstract】 Yongshu reef is a coral reef.In this paper,Yongshu reef engineering geology is systematically summarized.Based on drilling and shallow earthquake prospecting,the property of the shallow stratum structure of the coral reef is studied. Coral reef is a special geologic body and its characteristics of engineering geology remain to be further studied.According to many years studies on the coral body,there is something as follows to be mentioned: (1)There is a rock basin phenomenon existing in the shallow strata of Yongshu reef,which plays an important role in stability of the reefs engineering geology and is also favourable for the growth of the reef. (2)In situ measurement of the reefs loose sandy gravel lets us find that the density is between loose and moderate dense nature.And the relationship between in situ measurement data and engineering mechanic index still remains to be further studied. (3)The loose sandy gravel has some special physical mechanic natures such as grains being prone to break and in irregular form,large intergranular void ratio and large internal friction angle. (4)Engineering geologic characteristics of calcareous sandy gravel make it difficult to conduct engineering construction in reef area,especially pile engineering construction. (5)Shallow earthquake prospecting method is suitable for exploration of coral reef strata.
