【Abstract】 A comprehensive review in this paper clues the author to consider that the processes occurred in the deep part of the Earth may cause accumulation of some radioactive elements in certain position of the mantle or lower crust,giving rise to intensive nuclear reaction. As a result, the lower crust was heated,the upper crust was uplifted and then collapsed by extension,and consequently,strong earthquakes,volcanism and magmatismoccurred, and mountain ranges formed.Thereupon, to monitor the α─particl radiation from the internal earth may make it possible to predit strong earthquakes.更多还原
