【Abstract】 This paper presented the developing history and status of earthquake sound research at home and abroad;summarized the correlation between earthquake sound and focal depth,focal mechanism,seismic-wave spectrum,site characteristics;and then demonstrated the feasibility that sound as a useful seismic source to empirically determine of site respond characteristics;At last,pointed out the future direction of research with the consideration of present research situation: the use of synthetic seismograms technology was used for precise quantitative research and explanation on earthquake sound.更多还原
