【Abstract】 In this paper,the characteristics of short -period geomagnetic harmonic wave amplitude ratios at Kashi geomagnetic station in Xinjiang area before several Ms6.0 earthquakes are studied. Incorporating the results of Sheshan and Chongming geomagnetic stations in Shanghai,it is found the anomalous variations migrated from short-period to long-period when the epicentral distance is smaller,and from long-period to short-period when the epicentral distance is larger.
