【Abstract】 In this paper, the characteristic of the change of soil - gas radon in Choudong, Changle city in 1999 was analyzed. The anomalous characteristic of soil - gas radon from April to June of 1999 was related with the Nantou earthquake Ms7.6 on September 21, 1999 of Taiwan Province. But the chang of soil ?gas radon from July to September of 1999 is the result of excessive rainfall during this period.
