【Abstract】 With the advent of the "new era", Hu Feng in his later years took a surprising interest in and appreciation for Liu Qing. In his "A Reminiscence of Liu Qing and A Review of Builders of a New Life ", Hu Feng’s evaluation of Builders of a New Life and his comprehension of Liu Qing’s situation have both "insights" and "misunderstanding". By the "insights" is meant that Hu Feng and Liu Qing have a hidden literary relationship of realism, while the complex relationship between the historical memory and the literary judgment as well as between the physical and mental pain and the emotional inquiry highlighted by "misunderstanding" reflects the literary and emotional ties that they have attained across time and space. This will not only provide a clue for a understanding of the historical features, true pursuits and internal contradictions of "contemporary literature" at present, but also inspire a rethinking of Chinese literature and revolution in the 20^th century.更多还原
