【Abstract】 A brief introduction to the history and present condition of the research on pattern recognition of the underground nuclear explosion and earthquake is made, and the achieved research progress of the research group to which authors belong is mainly introduced. Then, the methods and theories of the research, i.e. several key questions in pattern recognition are discussed, and the preliminary research results are given.
