【Abstract】 An iterative algorithm is proposed for the inversion of elastic parameter layer in the two dimensional elastic wave equation, which makes use of multigrid method for the forward problem and pulse spectrum technique for the inverse problem,and avoids the Green function by the technique of variational principle.
