【摘要】 2003年6月10日,呼和浩特市托克托县发生MS4.2级地震,结束了1999年9月12日和林格尔MS4.2级地震后呼和浩特地区ML≥3.0级地震持续45个月的异常平静。托克托MS4.2级地震后,呼(呼和浩特)—包(包头)盆地中小地震活动显著增强,而相邻的临河盆地中小地震活动微弱。通过阴山地震带中强地震前中等地震活动特征分析,推测托克托MS4.2级地震具有中强地震前显著地震性质。更多还原

【Abstract】 The occurrence of Tuoketuo M_S4.2 earthquake on Jun.10, 2003 ended the seismic quietness (M_L≥3.0) that lasted for 45 months from Helinger M_S4.2 earthquake (Sep.12, 1999) in Huhhot area. After the earthquake, the small and medium earthquake in Huhhot-Baotou Basin is clearly active, but is still week in the neighboring Linhe Basin. Through analysis to the seismicity in Yinshan seismic zone, we predicted that Tuoketuo earthquake has the character of marked earthquake before moderately strong earthquakes.更多还原
