甘肃地区sPn震相研究及其震源深度计算
STUDY ON THE sPn PHASE AND CALCULATION OF THE FOCAL DEPTH IN GANSU PROVINCE
【摘要】 通过对甘肃2012年5月2个M>4.0级地震的震相分析,得出在震中距大于300 km时,甘肃数字地震台网部分台站可记录到较清晰的sPn震相。采用sPn和Pn震相确定震源深度的方法,重新计算震源深度,并和甘肃地震台网中心所得的结果相比较,证明了该方法的可行性。
【Abstract】 According to the analysis of the seismic phases of the two M>4 earthquakes occurred in Gansu in May,2012,Gansu digital seismograph network recorded the relatively clear sPn seismic phase in the area of more than 300 km around the epicenter.In this article,the method of using sPn and Pn seismic phases to calculate the seismic depth is adopted to recalculate the seismic depths of the two earthquakes,and the results obtained from this calculation were compared with those gained by Gansu network center,this method is proved to be feasible.
