山丹-民乐6.1级地震前地震空间相关长度增长现象和预测效果
THE PHENOMENA OF GROWING CORRELATION LENGTH IN SPACE OF EARTHQUAKES BEFORE SHANDAN-MINLE EARTHQUAKE WITH 6.1 AND ITS PREDICTING EFFECT
【摘要】 在2003年12月25日甘肃山丹-民乐6 1级地震前,用地震空间相关长度分析方法研究了甘肃及邻区几个区域的空间相关长度增长的现象。在得出的地震危险性最高的区域发生了山丹-民乐6 1级地震,表明地震空间相关长度分析对中强地震的地点预测是一种有效的方法。
【Abstract】 The phenomena of growing correlation length in space of earthquakes in Gansu province and its nearby area before Shandan-Minle earthquake with M 6.1 have been studied using the analysis method of correlation length in space of earthquakes.Shandan-Minle earthquake occurred in the most dangerous area in the studied region It shows that the analysis of correlation length in space of earthquakes is an effective method to predict the occurring place of moderate-strong earthquake.
