【Abstract】 In this paper,some ideas are presented on the earthquake magnitude scales,including the national standard for the determination of magnitude,existence of several magnitude scales,a magnitude scale being able to cover the whole possible magnitude range,transformation between different magnitude scales,and the calibration of magnitude measurements.Also,several suggestions are given for improving the practice of magnitude determination.更多还原
