湖南省地震烈度特征浅析

【摘要】 本文从湖南构造地震具有震源浅、矿山和水库等诱发地震易造成地表破坏、建筑物抗震性能普遍低和具备高烈度的地貌特征等进行分析, 认为我省地震烈度值大于经验值, 即湖南一般烈度与震级对应关系为: Ⅳ度: 2. 0~3. 5级;Ⅴ度: 2. 5~3. 5级; Ⅵ度: 3. 5~4. 0级。

【Abstract】 Based on the follvoing features of Hunan Province: the seismic source is shallow, it is easy to cause ground damage by oral and reservior-induced earthquakes, the seismic resistant capability of buildings is lower and that the land features of Hunan intond to cause high seismic intonsity, the writers believe that the real seismic intensity of Hunan is usnally bigger than the estimated value by experiences. The followig relationships between seismic intensity(I) and seismic magnitude(M) are proposed: Ⅰ(Ⅳ): M2.0~3.5, Ⅰ(Ⅴ): M2.5~3.5, Ⅰ(Ⅵ): M≥4.
