【Abstract】 The results of the recent seismo-social psychological survey in the Beijing area carried out by the Seismological Bureau of Beijing Municipality shows that, the level of public knowledge about earth- quake preparedness and disaster reduction has been raised to some extent, but the public consciousness about earthquake preparedness and disaster reduction should been strengthened. The statistics of the survey plays a good role in improving the model of seismological propaganda and education, and pre- sents from one aspect that the dissemination activities carried out around "July 28" 1996, the Twen- tieth Anniversary of the Tangshan Earthquake, achieved the desired results.更多还原
