强震群活动构造环境比较研究

【摘要】 将1997-1998年新疆伽师6.0~6.6级强震群与国内外14例5.1~8.7级强震群的活动构造环境比较研究后发现,强震群持时25min~3a,强震群区的地震活动多具重复性,发震构造多为刚性地块共轭隐伏破裂。强震群为板内浅源地震。

【Abstract】 The Jiashi region is located at a slope between the Kashgar depression and Bachu uplift in the northwestern part of the Tarim Basin,the value of gravity is relatively low(-240~-280 10-5m/s2) in the Kashgar depression,but it is relatively high(-100 10-5m/s2) in the Bachu uplift,and the strong earthquake swarms(Ms=6.0~6.6) in the Jiashi region occurred during the period from 1997 to 1998.In this paper,a comparative study on the active tectonic environment in the Jiashi region,Xinjiang,is carried out,and that of other 14 strong earthquake swarms(Ms=5.1~8.7) at home and abroad is reviewed.It is found that the duration of strong earthquake swarms varies in a range from 25 minutes and 3 years,the strong earthquake swarms can repeatedly occur in the same area where there are the conjugated and recessive fractures in rigid blocks,and all the strong shock series are the intra-plate shallow-hypocenter earthquakes.
