反相微乳液型疏水缔合共聚物溶液性质

【摘要】 以2-丙烯酰胺基长链烷基磺酸钠(SADS)为疏水单体,通过SADS与丙烯酰胺(AM)、丙烯酸(AA)进行反相微乳液聚合反应,制备了一种乳液型疏水缔合共聚物(SPAMA)。采用表面张力仪研究了SADS的表面活性,通过激光粒度散射仪对SPAMA乳液粒径大小及分布进行了表征,并通过动态流变仪对SPAMA水溶液的流变性能分别进行了测试。表面张力测试结果表明,在25℃下,SADS的临界胶束浓度为0.25g·L-1,此时的表面张力为25.42mN·m-1。粒径测试结果表明,SPAMA乳液的粒径为68.06nm,多分散系数PDI为0.055。流变测试结果表明,不同质量浓度下,SPAMA水溶液属于假塑性流体,临界缔合浓度(c*)为1.62g·L-1。黏弹性测试表明,SPAMA是典型的黏弹性流体,储能模量G′大于损耗模量G″,表现出明显的弹性特征。

【Abstract】 A hydrophobic associating copolymer(SPAMA) emulsion was synthesized by using sodium 2-acrylamido-alkyl sulfonate(SADS) as hydrophobic monomer, acrylamide(AM) and acrylic acid(AA) as raw materials through the inverse microemulsion polymerization. The surface activity of SADS was determined by the surface tension method. The particle size distribution and rheology properties of the SPAMA emulsion were characterized by the Dynamic light scattering(DLS) and dynamic rheometer, respectively. The critical micelle concentration(CMC) of SADS is 0.25 g·L-1 at 25℃, and the surface tension is 25.42 mN·m-1. The average particle size of the SPAMA emulsion is 68.06 nm, and the polydispersity coefficient is 0.055. According to the rheological test results, SPAMA aqueous solution is a pseudoplastic fluid and its critical associating concentration(c*) is 1.62 g·L-1. The SPAMA is a typical viscoelastic fluid based on the viscoelasticity tests. The value of storage modulus(G′) is larger than loss modulus(G″). SPAMA displays obvious elastic characteristics.
