【Abstract】 The structural type of the Expert Residence House of Beijing Foreign Language Bureau used to be a four-storied brick structure which was not aseismicly constructed. In 1981, the building was strengthened to resist earthquake and has been used until now. In accordance with the special feature of the buildingt a series of strengthening measures is taken in second time to reinforce the existing structure .Besides,an additional storey has been set up on the top of building successfully. Valuable experiences for strengthening and renovation of existing brick buildings are provided.更多还原
