【Abstract】 Ornamental plant is an essential component in landscaping. It is the only landscape element which possesses vitality. This article analyzes the differences in the selection of garden plants between China and Japan, and discusses the importance of plants and how they influence the creation of the Chinese landscape style and the Japanese landscape style from some particular aspects, such as the similarities of flora between east China and Japan, the aesthetic significance, the regional differences, landscape architects, the routes of visiting gardens and parks, the means of appreciation, and so on.更多还原
