【Abstract】 In the paper, the authors analyse and discuss the features of the various patterns of profile faults combined with tectonic wedges in seismic faults, put forward the form and evolution mechanism of th various pattern of profile faults with tectonic wedges and the criteria used in paleoearthquake research. Above undestanding is vertified by a few of typical examples and some problems also further are studied. The understanding and results obtained in the paper may play a positive role in the research on active faults and paleoearthquake events.更多还原
