中国西南地区强震预测的支持向量机方法
Prediction of Southwest China Strong Earthquakes based on Support Vector Machines
【摘要】 以太阳黑子数、地球自转速率变化数据和全球7级以上地震个数作为预测因子,使用支持向量机分类方法建模,预测了中国西南地区年度地震强度,预测效果较好,说明此方法有一定的实用性。
【Abstract】 The yearly seismic intensity of Southwest China is predicted based on a classifying model of Support Vector Machine by taking the sunspot numbers, the Earth’s rotation rate variation data and the number of the global earthquakes with M≥7.0 as prediction factors. The prediction result is good, which shows the classification of Support Vector Machine has some practicability in earthquake intensity prediction.
