铲形正断层特征数值模拟及其与地震机制的研究
Mathematical Simulation of Listric Normal Features and the Study of Earthquake
【摘要】 铲形正断层是伸展构造区最普遍、最基本的断层构造。本文应用近年来先进的LDDA方法对断层的运动效应进行数值模拟〔1〕,着重探讨了铲形正断层的几何学和运动学特征 ,并且依据断层带附近剪应力集中的情况 ,对铲形正断层与地震机制的关系进行了讨论。这些探讨对于深入认识伸展构造区地震的形成机制和动力学环境具有重要的借鉴意义。
【Abstract】 The listric normal fault is the most universal and typical structure in the extension area.The paper’s aim is to simulate the movement effect of the fault in LDDA method,which has been advanced recently.Its importance is to study the geometry and kinematics features of the listirc fault.Acccording to the result of mathematical simulation and the shear stress concentration near the fault belts,it discusses the relation between the listric normal fault and seismic activity so as to provide the study of generation mechanism and kinematics features of the fault in the extension area with theoretical supports.
