【Abstract】 Relations between Xingtai earthquake and meterology have been studied in this paper. It is considered that besides meterological anomalies before Xingtai major earthquake in March 1966 there also exist weather anomalies before moderate - strong aftershocks. In addition, it is found that low atmospheric pressure has distinct influence to strong earthqkes and aftershocks. Through analyses the authors consider that werther process with low atmospheric pressure has triggering function to seismic activity which can not be neglected.更多还原
