【Abstract】 A thorough analysis is made of the characteristics of the ground tilt anomalies recorded in Zhejiang Province prior to the magnitude 7.6 Taiwan earthquake of 21 Sept. 1999, along with the related prediction process. These precursory anomalies are proved to be caused by the great earthquake of September 21. This example provides important referential basis for predicting the origin time, the epicentral position and the magnitude of an impending earthquake in case similar precursory information appears in this region in the future.更多还原
