【Abstract】 We briefly analyzes the algorithm of using multiple station P-wave arriavl time under two conditions(regional P-wave velocity is known and unknown),using search method(also known as grid method) to estimate the epicenter,in this paper firstly.COM components based on VB and Matlab mixed programming is used to achieve the algorithm of estimate the epicenter by the regional P-wave velocity.In actual usage,we found that the program had advantage of interface friendly,run fast,and earthquake location precision,when the earthquake occurs in and in the edge of the net.This algorithm provides an auxiliary means to estimate the epicenter by use of multiple station data.更多还原
