【Abstract】 This paper discusses the existence of the NW-trending Heze-Kunshan seismic zone and itsscale and extent from the data of geological structure,strike of the dense seismic focuses area andmigration law of earthquakes in combination with the data of gravity and aeromagnetism . Thisseismic zone is active from historic to recent times,It has become a threat of seismic hazard to theproduction and constrution in a vast area from the Huaihe River to the Yangtze River , includingShanghai city,Hangzhou Bay and Ningbo area.
