【Abstract】 Through analysis, we found that the Wen’an earthquake has the following characteristics: the aftershocks are small with the biggest of only M 1.5, belonging to the isolated type earthquake; the earthquake intensity is low, but the perceptible area is relatively large; the macro-epicenter is over 10km away from the micro-epicenter; the hypocenter is deep; and the fracture of earthquake shows a normal fault slip. The explanation for these characteristics is presented, which can be regarded as a new evidence for lithospheric thinning.更多还原
