【Abstract】 was the four hundredth anniversary of the great Quanzhou earthquake. The author has studied the great earthquake group in Quanzhou -Qiongshan at the beginning of seventeenth century and gained the knowledge of the correlation among strong earthquakes and its tectonic characteristics.It is found that there are genetic correlation among great earthquakes and character of ringlike tectonic in the area surround the southeastern coast of China, mutual compensable relationship of seismicity in the area of ringlike tectonic with the main area of China, especially, the earthquakes in this area and the noutheastern area of China occured alternately and there is a negative correlation between them.更多还原
