【Abstract】 The paper briefly introduces two methods for assessing the monitoring capacity of seismic precursor network and tentative application of them in assessing both present and future monitoring capacity in the Capital Area. The primarily results of evaluation show that after the establishment of digital precursor networks in the Capital demonstration area for preparedness and reduction of earthquake disaster, the capacity of monitoring the seismic precursors will be dramatically enhanced. However, there is still a“blind area”for monitoring the source precursors in the southwest and northeast mountain areas.更多还原
