基于紧凑比率的海洋涡旋提取方法研究

【摘要】 涡旋是海洋流场中的一种特殊形态,其涡核中心速度在大小和方向与周围具有明显的差异,使其在形态上接近椭圆环或圆环。结合涡核中心点所属临界点类型,通过确定海洋流场中涡旋近似的多边形与等周长圆的紧凑比率,便可识别涡旋。鉴于此,本文提出了基于形态学紧凑比率思想提取涡旋的新方法。综上,该方法可以识别不同尺度下的涡旋并能够准确确定涡核及其周围区域的瞬时运动状态。与其他方法相比,本文提出的方法覆盖面大,受数据精度影响较小且可以识别更多的海洋涡旋,为涡旋识别提供了一种新的途径。

【Abstract】 Vortex is a special form in the ocean flow field. Its velocity center velocity is obviously different from its surroundings in size and direction,making it close to an ellipse ring or ring in shape,and it is a critical point that belongs to the center of a vortex core type,so that the vortex can be identified by determining the compact ratio of the vortex-approximating polygon to the equal-perimeter-circle in the ocean flow field. In view of this,this paper proposes a new method based on morphological compact ratios to extract vortex. In summary,the method can identify vortices at different scales and can accurately determine the instantaneous motion state of the vortex core and its surrounding area. Compared with other methods,the method presented in this paper has a large coverage,is less affected by data accuracy,and can identify more ocean vortices,provided a new way for vortex identification.
