【Abstract】 In this paper, the occurrence process of a mine hoisting wire rope breaking accident, the sampling of the wire rope after the accident and the collection of field data, the inspection of the sampling wire rope in the laboratory, the inspection of the mechanical properties of the steel wire and the calculation of the safety factor are described in detail, and the impact force on the wire rope when the accident occurs is carried out.
