【Abstract】 The application, development trend in water and wastewater of GIS are demonstrated, including water resource management and analysis, water and wastewater design and management, urban wastewater treatment plant design and management, pipelines emergency analysis and water pollution condition and trend analysis.As an example the Daqing city water and wastewater pipelines information management system is presented.
