【Abstract】 The mechanical performances of composite insulator are researched. The elastic modulus of the insulator are calculated. Based on experience of support system of ±800k V smoothing reactor, the support structure of ±1100 k V dry-type smoothing reactor is researched. The structural stability is analyzed.
