【Abstract】 Freedom is humankind’s understanding and expectation of their own destiny. The bourgeois revolution in modern times made it a kind of natural right to equality, but the de facto inequality in the possession of private property led to an unbridgeable gap between legal rights and reality. Solving the contradiction between freedom and equality is directed to human emancipation, which depends on "the active abandonment of private property, or on the human self-alienation".
